Kitsap Humane Society Asks For Help

Local Animal Control officers have recently seized several farm animals,   including nearly 100 chickens and other poultry. The Kitsap Humane Society provides care for seized animals until they can be adopted. However,   this number of birds is more than the Humane Society facilities can currently accommodate.

The Humane Society is asking for help to temporarily house these birds until they can be prepared for adoption. If you can provide temporary housing for some of these birds,   or if you want more information on how you can help,   please contact Stacy Price,   Director of Animal Welfare,   Kitsap Humane Society at 360-692-6977 x1117 or daw@kitsap-humane.org
